Meet the Team

 Liz Hart – Setting Manager
Liz is Setting Manager and qualified in July 2015 to Level 6 Early Years Teacher Status. She has been involved at Acorns since 2006 as a parent committee member and then project managed our present building. Liz has also completed SENCO training.
Kim Sadler – Deputy Supervisor
Kim joined us in the spring term of 2011 and has completed a Level 2 and Level 3 whilst working at Acorns, Kim was appointed Deputy Supervisor in September 2012 and is SENCO qualified. She has recently returned from maternity leave following the birth of her third child.
Susanna Morgan – Deputy Supervisor

Susanna joined us in September 2011 and is qualified to Level 3 equivalent in Early Years (NNEB). She completed a Level 3 Forest Schools qualification in Spring 2016 and is our Forest Schools Leader. In November 2016 Susanna was promoted to Deputy Supervisor alongside Kim Sadler.

Victoria Webster – Pre-School Practitioner
Victoria has worked as a Practitioner since May 2009 (taking a maternity break when she had her third child). She has strong ties with the village and all her children have attended Acorns. Victoria achieved her Level 3 qualification in Early Years in June 2012 and undertakes the planning for our PE activities.
GinaGina Rayner – Pre-School Practitioner
Gina joined us in spring 2015 and started her Early Years Educator in spring 2016. Gina has three children who attend school in Helmdon.

Zofija Wilson – Pre-School Practitioner

Zofija joined us in September 2016 as a Senior Practitioner. She has an honours degree in Early Childhood Studies and lives with her family in Helmdon.

Emma Houghton – Pre-School Practitioner

Emma joined us in November 2016; she has a Level 3 NVQ in Early Years and also works as a nanny locally.

Rebecca Fletcher  – Pre-School Practitioner

Rebecca joined us in December 2016 and has a NNEB qualification; she is returning to work after a break to have a family.

 

Hannah Foulkes

Hannah joined us in March 2017 to cover Zofija’s maternity leave until July 2017. She is qualified to Level 3 in Early Years and had previously spent time at the setting when completing work placements as part of her college course.

 

Bank Staff
Sometimes we need additional staff to cover training and illness at short notice.
Kathryn-001Kathryn Crawford – Pre-School Practitioner
Kath is a qualified primary school teacher and joined us as bank staff in the spring of 2015.

KerriKerri Seymour
Kerri was previously Supervisor at Croughton Pre-School and returned to us in November 2014 having worked at Acorns previously. Kerri has a Diploma in Pre-School Practice although she started a new career in the NHS in 2016, she remains on our bank staff.

We have been very lucky to have had a number of volunteers, either parents past and present or students doing work placements.
